If you crave spectacular vistas and intimate surroundings and don't mind heights or steep walks, this is a fun property, with a funky St. Barth vibe. Chic contemporary decor in the spacious rooms—all with names of nearby islands—means a splash of bright colors, spacious marble bathrooms with bathtubs, and a private terrace with a hammock; each room even has an espresso machine. Two new luxury suites will be ready for 2013. If you wish, arrange for spa treatments or breakfast in your room, or take advantage of the multiday packages of spa pampering. The young management is very guest-oriented, and the hotel offers complimentary airport transfers. Although not on the beach, the hotel does offer a free shuttle to Anse Marcel, and the property has its own beach chairs and offers signing privileges at restaurants there. There is a small restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or room service. Check for other package promotions that include a car and meals.
