Great Bay

Fodor's Review:

This is probably the easiest beach to find because it curves around Philipsburg. A bustling, white-sand beach, Great Bay is just behind Front Street, shopping, eateries, and a half-mile-long boardwalk. Because of the cruise ships and the salt pond, it's not the best for swimming, but if you must take a dip, do it west of Captain Hodge Pier.
