Combine excellent food, a good selection of French wine, a setting in a charming 1871 West Indian house, and a bill that won't break the bank, and you have a great restaurant. French and creole cuisine reign, especially fresh local fish. Try the sea scallops and shrimp with saffron sauce, one of the succulent duck or beef entrées, or the house seafood specialty (a first course of shrimp, scallops, and mussels and a second with four types of grilled fish). End your meal with warm chocolate cake served with delicious ice cream.

We have traveled to the island for 12+ years...and Le Pressoir is absolutely the best restaurant in St Martin. Frank (chef owned) and Melanie are wonderful hosts and create a dining experience for the ages. The seafood is exquisite...and the wine collection is second to none! Don't flirt with other restaurants until AFTER you've eaten here.
