Dinner here is favored for the ravishing cuisine, romantic ambience, and, most of all, the marvelously friendly owners. Didier Gonnon and Martyne Tardif are out front, while chef Mario Tardif is in the kitchen creating bouillabaisse with green Thai curry, a duet of grilled lamb chops and braised lamb shank shepherd's pie, and sautéed jumbo scallops with crab mashed potatoes and leek tempura. The upside-down banana coconut tart with caramel sauce and coconut ice cream is heavenly. The restaurant is rather strict about reservations for large groups, and there are set seatings for the waterside tables.
