Taxes & Service Charges
The departure tax is $26 (EC$68), payable in cash only (either EC or U.S. dollars). A government tax of 8% is added to all hotel and restaurant bills. There's no sales tax on goods purchased in shops. Most restaurants add a service charge of 10% to restaurant bills in lieu of tipping.
