Passport Requirements

U.S., Canadian, and British citizens whose stay does not exceed six months must have a valid passport or prove citizenship with a birth certificate (with a raised seal) and a government-issued photo ID. Visitors from other countries must present a valid passport. Everyone must have a return or ongoing ticket. We strongly urge all travelers going to the Caribbean to carry a valid passport; even if it's not an absolute requirement, you will always pass through Immigration with much more ease. As of January 1, 2008, U.S. citizens arriving by air must have a valid passport to reenter the United States.
