Hummingbird Beach Resort Review

Unpretentious and welcoming, this delightful little inn on Soufrière Harbour has simply furnished rooms—a traditional motif emphasized by four-poster beds and African wood sculptures—in small seaside cabins. Most rooms have modern baths; two rooms share a bath. A two-bedroom country cottage—with a sitting room, kitchenette, and spectacular Piton view—is suitable for a family or two couples vacationing together. The Hummingbird's Lifeline Restaurant is a favorite of locals, as well as vacationers spending a day or more in Soufrière. Owner Joan Alexander-Stowe has her batik studio and shop adjacent to the restaurant.
