This is a good choice for independent vacationers who don't require a beachfront location or resort activities. Accommodations are cheerful and bright, and all but six rooms have a water view. A broad, tiled sundeck—the center of activity—surrounds a small pool. Reserve ahead, as business travelers appreciate the Auberge's convenience to downtown Castries, the airport, and great restaurants—including the one at the inn, which serves fine Caribbean, French, and Continental cuisine and has a well-stocked wine cellar.
