If you're staying in the north, you can get a tour that includes transportation to the Soufrière area. Jeep or bus transportation is provided across the central mountains to Dennery, on the east coast. After a 3-mi (5-km) ride through the countryside, bikes are exchanged for shoe leather. The short hike into the rain forest ends with a picnic and a refreshing swim next to a sparkling waterfall—then the return leg to Dennery. All gear is supplied.
