Bobsy's

Bobsy's Review

Locals flock to this semi-alfresco terrace eatery for lively happy hours and, on weekends, for karaoke, sizzling salsa, live bands, and a DJ spinning favorite dance tunes. Vivid colors (scarlet linens, orange walls with mauve and lime trim, turquoise rafters), African masks, and autographed photos of reggae stars attest to the authentic island ambience, as do such fine specialties as pumpkin soup, glazed passion-fruit ribs, and shrimp in tamarind-ginger sauce (you can also get hefty burgers, gourmet pizzas, and such Continental standbys as chicken fettuccine Alfredo and rack of lamb). At this writing it is slated to move to new quarters by late fall 2011, closer to the beach, but maintain the decor and menu.
