"Garbage pizza"—topped with everything but the kitchen sink—is a favorite, or you can create your own pie at this longtime hangout owned by three expats (two Canadians and a Texan: Pat, Jude, and Janet). Sandwiches, calzones, simple but lustily flavored pastas (try the goat cheese ravioli in sun-dried tomato sauce or spaghetti with humongous meatballs), and mama-mia classics (eggplant Parmesan to chicken rollatini) are also served. Finish your meal with delicious, moist rum cake. This casual spot, bordering the golf course and open to cooling breezes, is always boisterous (especially during the 9-10 pm happy hour, overseen with good spirits by bartending fixture Ashton), despite—or perhaps because of—its ironic location beside the Frigate Bay police station.
