Fodor's Review:

Even the tangerine, lemon, and blueberry exterior of this 17th-century gingerbread creole house looks appetizing. Inside, you feel as if you're dining in owner-chef Rosalind Walters's home, with batik hangings, lace tablecloths, and wood carvings. The rear garden overlooking the sea comes alive for Saturday's Caribbean Food Fest and Sunday's barbecue. The regular menu includes lobster in lemon butter (the one pricey entrée) and mahimahi in lemon-thyme sauce; local specials might consist of goat water (goat stew), souse (pickled pigs' trotters), and curried mutton. It's open for lunch (and some dinners) only when there are reservations.

  • Closed: No dinner Sun.
