Known informally as Matt's, after owner-chef Matt Lloyd (former chef at Montpelier), this minuscule boîte, in a 1930s chattel house, is wildly popular, especially during Friday-night happy hour. Fare ranges from quiches to curries; coconut chicken's a standout, but opt for the fresh-fish specials (Matt usually hauls in the catch himself on his 30-footer, Deep Venture, which is available for rent). The impeccable presentation is as colorful as the quintessentially West Indian decor. Local chefs flock here on their nights off -- always a promising sign.

food was fine at first, but something that shouldn't be in the food was left. i had to go to hospital and spent so much money. but they never appologize or anything. all they had to say was"it's not my fault". " i had some customers with food allergy, and acciently it was in the food, but then it is customer's responsibility to eat their ouwn food, also there were so many people in the group...i was confused" i don't need to hear any other situation. but sounds like she has never understand what i am trying to say. never appologize. im very upset. and some of my friends had the same kind of trouble too. i never recommend this place.
