Chrishi Beach Club Review

Though more a daytime hangout (especially Sunday when Nevisian movers and shakers descend on the lovely beach with their families—and act like overgrown kids themselves), Chrishi Beach Club remains hip and happening through sunset thanks to vivacious Norwegian expats Hedda and Christian "Chrishi" Wienpahl. You can sprawl on comfy chaises and thatched, white, beach waterbeds (exemplifying the couple's wit and whimsy). Enjoy the righteous lounge mix (and mixology) and the glorious St. Kitts views (even the hideous Sea Bridge car ferry looks like an art installation from this vantage point), and what Hedda calls "European café-style" food (salads, pizzas, sandwiches like Brie with sun-dried tomatoes and cranberries). Kids have their own club with fresh-fruit smoothies, and Hedda's fun funky HWD jewelry line (incorporating leather, coins, found objects) is on sale.
