The high season is relatively short, starting in mid-December and stretching into early or mid-April. The shoulder season (roughly April to mid-June and November to mid-December) offers lower rates. Rates are lower still from mid-June through November, but some establishments close.

Nevis calls its summer carnival Culturama, and it's celebrated in late July and early August.
In mid-September, Heritage Week celebrates Nevis's history with several celebrations.
The Nevis International Culinary Heritage Exposition brings in guest chefs for cooking demonstrations and wine tastings the third week of October.
