Getting Oriented

A tiny part of the Netherlands Antilles, St. Eustatius (often just called "Statia") is just under 12 square mi (30 square km), making it twice as large as Saba. The island, which is 38 mi (63 km) south of St. Maarten, has a population of 2,900. Although there are three beaches, they are better for strolling than swimming.
