The only full-service resort on the island has lovely rooms and suites (14 of which have private pools) and impeccable personalized service, not to mention one of the only children's programs (though it's more of a nursery). Rooms, all of which have large bathrooms with Bulgari toiletries, were redecorated in 2004 in a hip and attractive grape-and-kiwi color scheme; at the same time, a stunningly serene Clarins Spa and Frederic Fekkai hair salon were added. Units vary in price, privacy, view, and distance from activities, so make your preferences known. The new Wellness Suite, which is at the top of the property, becomes your own hedonistic domain after the spa closes at night. Flat-screen TVs and DVDs are new in all rooms, as is the sometimes dodgy, resortwide Wi-Fi service; the well-equipped gym is newly expanded, and a renovated tennis court boasts an Astroturf surface. Also here are two well-regarded restaurants, poolside L'Indigo and dramatic Bartolomeo, which has a lounge with live music.
