Perched high above the glittering crescent of Grand Cul de Sac, which is home to some lively restaurants, and some of the most expensive hotels on the island, this tiny compound of five private and meticulously maintained bungalows has been built by Christine and Hubert Bonnet, two young entrepreneurs and avid gardeners with an appreciation for the architecture and drama of the Greek Islands. Accommodations vary from a tiny studio to a spacious two-bedroom villa with a private pool, but all have white-draped platform beds, sitting areas, and private patios -- and the comfort and elegance of much more costly island digs.
