A daily news sheet called News lists local happenings like special dinners or music and is available at markets and newsstands. Also, the free weekly Journal de Saint-Barth—mostly in French—is useful for current events. The small Ti Gourmet Saint-Barth is a free pocket-size guidebook that's invaluable for addresses and telephone numbers of restaurants and services. Look for the annual Saint-Barth Tables for full restaurant menus. Its counterpart, Saint-Barth Leisures, contains current information about sports, spas, nightlife, and the arts.
