Fodor's Review

This longtime favorite of European families delivers a high standard of courteous professionalism and personalized service. The renovated rooms are supercomfortable, and stuffed with unpretentious but luxurious touches like steeping tubs, flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and specially commissioned 780-thread-count linens, using environmentally sensitive materials. Unrenovated rooms are nice enough and less expensive. Each unit has a private front deck with a lounge bed, perfect

for relaxing with a book. Set in lush, mature tropical gardens facing the rocky shore of tony Point Milou, the huge infinity pool brings the liquid horizon up to your toes; its shallow side is a dream for small kids (it has an alarm at night for safety). Book a treatment in the chic waterfront Sisley spa. An ample buffet breakfast and first-rate gastronomic dinners (there is a new chef) are served in a lovely modern pavilion. Lunch is a waterfront barbecue with fun live music, and yummy drinks come from the poolside bar. There's even 24-hour room service for light bites and meals. Most appreciated are the remarkably moderate prices.
