Le Normandie Review

The immaculate rooms here are small but stylish, and there's nothing on the island at this price range that compares. This place will certainly appeal to young visitors who appreciate an in-town location and a clubby atmosphere. There's a small pool garden where breakfast and afternoon wine are served. Wendy and Dennis Carlton, longtime St. Barth visitors, have renovated this eight-room inn in a Euro-meets-nautical theme, reflecting the eponymous art-deco ocean liner. And, it's a two-minute walk to the beach.

    Fantastic; Like Being Invited Home

    Normandie Hotel is fantastic, hands-down. The hotel has a warm, intimate, and welcoming ambiance. Staying here is like being invited to spend a week at the home of a good friend. Wendy and Dennis Carlton have made Normandie into an experience that gets better each day. Their staff, Camille and Jessica, are professional, friendly. and downright fantastic. Mariah, Beyonce....you can have the Guanahani and the Eden Roc...give me the Normandie all the time, anytime.
