Restaurant des Pêcheurs

Restaurant des Pêcheurs Review

From fresh, morning beachside brioche to a final evening drink in the sexy lounge, you can dine all day in this soaring thatch pavilion that is the epitome of chic. The restaurant at Le Sereno, like the Christian Liaigre-designed resort, is serenity itself. Each menu item is a miniature work of art, beautifully arranged and amiably served. Each day there is a different €44 three-course menu. "Authentic" two-course bouillabaisse à l'ancienne, the famous French seafood stew, is served every Friday, and the chef even gives a class in its preparation, but the menu also lists daily oceanic arrivals from Marseille and Quiberon on France's Atlantic coast: roasted, salt-crusted, or grilled to your personal perfection. Fans of Provence will love the aioli special on Wednesday. For splurges, there is a caviar and foie-gras menu. This—and sand between your toes—is heaven.
