Everyone is treated like family at this casual retreat. Ten clean, fresh, and newly decorated rooms are right on serene Anse des Flamands; each has a kitchenette and private terrace, each with a sofa that converts to an extra bed. There's also a small pool. The food at La Langouste, the hotel's restaurant, is tasty and reasonably priced. The proprietor also manages a four-bedroom, three-bath villa a bit farther up the hill. Pros: on St. Barth's longest beach; family-friendly; excellent value. Cons: the area is a bit remote to the town areas.
