Hôtel Le Toiny Review

Privacy and serenity are the mission here, but so is sustainability with features such as a water-treatment plant, organic cleaning products, and moves toward using solar energy. Rooms have all the conveniences of home, including big bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. High-tech amenities include several flat-screen TVs, stereos, iPod docks, and espresso machines. Each suite has an outdoor shower, a patio hammock, and heated private pool. Breakfast is brought to your terrace each morning, and there is free laundry service. Spa services can be provided in your villa, or you can wander over to the new spa cottage. Sunday brunch and haute cuisine can be had at the alfresco Le Gaïac restaurant, one of the very best on the island, which overlooks the Italian-tile pool. New owners added a walking trail that leads to a small private beach, but you really can't swim in the rough water there. There is a small but state-of-the art fitness center.

    Hôtel Le Toiny Review

Note: The roads in St. Barthelemy have just been repaved cutting travel time almost in half. Le Toiny is 10 minutes from St. Jeans and 15 minutes from Gustavia.
