Fodor's Review:

The romantic brick walls, hand-painted wooden chairs, exquisite white-linen tablecloths, and vivid creole paintings evoke an old-style private island home. The service reminds us of dinner in the "best" homes, but this is not the cooking of your maman. Classic French food like loin of lamb, dover sole meunière, and roasted Bresse chicken with potato gratin anchors the menu. Caramelized foie gras with cinnamon spiced pear and sangria is not to be missed. Try it with the suggested ice wine. The Flambée Tarte Tatin with caramel ice cream and the frozen raspberry soufflé are longtime favorites.
