It isn't difficult to get married on Saba, but it does take a little preparation. A couple months before you travel, register via e-mail to secure a date and obtain all the necessary information, including the paperwork you need to submit beforehand. Include a letter requesting permission to be married on the island, addressed to the lieutenant governor of Saba. If you choose to be married somewhere other than in the Court Room at the Government Building, you must submit a written request to the lieutenant governor. Weddings are popular on Saba, and most of the hotels are willing to accommodate and cater provided you plan ahead. (Queen's Garden Resort is a particularly romantic spot.) The actual cost of the wedding ranges from $42 to $62, depending on when and where the ceremony is performed.
