Brigadoon

Brigadoon Review

Just as many people visit this local favorite for the exceptional fare as for the entertaining atmosphere, which stars eccentric co-owner Trish Chammaa, who hosts with jokes and brassy banter. Trish's husband toils over supper in the back, and the result is a perfect gastronomic experience. The venue sports glass-top tables accented with Caribbean runners. The varied menu includes vegetarian entrées, fresh Saban lobster, sesame- and coriander-encrusted yellowfin tuna, and baby back ribs. Thursday and Saturday are prime rib and shawarma (a Middle Eastern meat-based wrap sandwich like gyros) nights. The homemade desserts are decadent.

We have been eating at Michael and Trish's Brigadoon for the past 10 years on our visits to Saba. Trish is always the hostess who makes all her guests feel at home, and Michael turns out some of the most fabulous meals on the island. A must for at least one dinner (or more) when visiting Saba.

Michael and Trish serve fabulous meals, including the island favorite of seared salmon. Do make reservations when Michael or a "Sea Saba" staff member give a slide show! Get there on time so you don't lose your seat!

When we go to Saba, we eat here frequently. You will need a reservation even in the off season.
