Brigadoon Review

The exceptional fare draws just as many people to this local favorite as the entertaining atmosphere, which stars eccentric co-owner Tricia Chammaa. She livens things up with jokes and brassy banter while her husband, Michael, toils over dinner in the back. The result is a great experience. Brigadoon's glass-top tables are accented with Caribbean-style runners and string lights. Specialties include Chowder Michael and Shrimp Michael, a pasta dish that also includes mushrooms and olives. Thursday and Saturday are prime rib and sushi nights. As for desserts, the cheesecake, which comes in a variety of flavors, and the peanut-butter pie are standouts. Also worth a try: Madagascar vanilla bean–ginger rum, made in-house (as are all the ice creams).

Dinner and a Show...don't miss it

Michael and Trish serve fabulous meals, including the island favorite of seared salmon. Do make reservations when Michael or a "Sea Saba" staff member give a slide show! Get there on time so you don't lose your seat! When we go to Saba, we eat here frequently. You will need a reservation even in the off season.

    Fabulous Dining

We have been eating at Michael and Trish's Brigadoon for the past 10 years on our visits to Saba. Trish is always the hostess who makes all her guests feel at home, and Michael turns out some of the most fabulous meals on the island. A must for at least one dinner (or more) when visiting Saba.
