Fodor's Review

If you want to feel as if you're doing your ecological part without giving up every modern convenience, consider these tiny cottages. They're hidden among tropical flora 1,500 feet up Booby Hill. All have heated showers and patios. Take in the view from a hammock in the vegetarian snack bar, or lounge by the pool, which has the only bridge on the island. Vegetarian dinners are available every Tuesday and Thursday for $10. Drinks can be had at the honor bar. Be sure to

pick up a bottle of homemade banana, vanilla, ginger, or chili pepper rum on your way out; it makes a great gift or memento. Owners speak fluent English, Dutch, German, Spanish and some French.
