Fodor's Review

Consistently ranked one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Playa Flamenco has snow-white sands, turquoise waters, and lush hills that rise on all sides. During the week, it's pleasantly uncrowded; on weekends it fills up fast with day-trippers from the mainland. With kiosks selling simple dishes and vendors for lounge-chair and umbrella rentals, it's easy to make a day of it. Don't miss the tanks on the northern end of the beach—a reminder that this area was

once a military base. Amenities: food and drink; parking (free); showers; toilets. Best For: swimming; walking.

Beautiful!

Culebra is a bit difficult to get to, but WELL WORTH IT! Beautiful, uncrowded beaches, great snorkeling, nice resorts and restaurants.
