Fodor's Review

Pull your dinghy up to the dock and watch the resident iguanas plod past at this simple open-air, tin-roofed restaurant on a rough-plank deck beside the Dewey canal. Painted pink, purple, and green, the space is littered with palm tree trunks. Tarpon cruise past in the jade waters, and the to and fro of boaters add to the show at Culebra's favorite watering hole and gringo hangout. Mamacita's down-home menu changes nightly. It's heavy on burgers and sandwiches but includes an excellent mahimahi. Open times vary by season.
