Aureola Review
Facing Plaza San José, this colorful restaurant serves solid Mexican food at a reasonable price. Brightly colored sombreros hang from the walls, cantina music plays overhead, and a bowl of dried chiles decorates your table. It may sound a little cartoonish, but in fact the comfortable seating, friendly service, and pretty back patio all help keep things casually elegant. You won't find anything unexpected here; it's carnitas, burritos, ceviche, tacos, and margaritas all the way. One real standout: the saucy beef enchiladas that you spoon into steaming hot tortillas.
