Sofia Italian Kitchen & Bar

Sofia Italian Kitchen & Bar Review

Ignore the tongue-in-cheek recordings of "That's Amore." Everything else in this red-walled and warmly atmospheric trattoria is the real deal. Start with the squid stuffed with sweet sausage; then move on to the linguine with clams and pancetta or the filet mignon risotto. The plates of pasta are huge, so you might want to consider a generously sized half-order. Pizzas are also available, and the braised osso buco with creamy polenta and baked tomatoes is a house specialty. Save room for—what else?—a tasty tiramisu or chocolate mousse. There's also a small but carefully edited wine list.
