Numero Uno Guest House Review

Although the name refers to the hotel's address, Numero Uno is how guests rate this small hotel. It's common to hear people trading stories about how often they've returned to this relaxing retreat. Behind a whitewashed wall is a patio where you can catch some rays beside the small pool, enjoy a cocktail at the bar, or dine at Pamela's, the excellent restaurant. A few steps away is a sandy beach where you can relax on beach chairs and under umbrellas, with full cabana service. Instead of the usual tropical colors, the stylish rooms are decorated in shades of cream and brown, with custom-made furnishings, including sleek writing desks.

I stayed at Numero Uno Guesthouse over the Memorial Day weekend, and I loved it. The best part of my stay was the excellent customer service I received from the entire staff. I also loved Pamela's Restaurant located inside the guesthouse; both the food and the service were exceptionally good. Pamela's is pricey, but worth every dime. The continental breakfasts are also a plus at Numero Uno. Finally, I liked the fact that Numero Uno faces a beautiful beach that is popular with tourists and locals alike. I would definitely go back to this guesthouse.
