Augusto's
Augusto's Review
Under the direction of noted chef Ariel Rodríguez, this restaurant is one of the more celebrated in the San Juan area and is popular with the city's elite. The formal dining room feels a bit stuffy and uninspired, but is saved somewhat by the local works of art decorating the walls. The cuisine is international, with strong French influences. Some of the dishes commonly served are braised beef short ribs with horseradish mashed potatoes and king salmon wrapped in potato with a chive beurre blanc. A prix fixe menu is also available. A sommelier is usually on hand to help you choose a bottle from the approximately 250 selections on the wine list.
