Book NowAt Wind Chimes Inn Review
Hidden behind a whitewashed wall covered with bougainvillea, this Spanish-style villa gives the impression of an exclusive retreat. Much about the place invites you to relax: the patios shaded by royal palms, the terra-cotta-tiled terraces, two sun decks, and the small pool. And the soft, ever-present jingling of wind chimes is a hint that the beach is only a block away. At this writing, the restaurant and bar were under renovation.

At Wind Chimes is the perfect "non touristy" spot for a first time visitor to San Juan. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with small bathroom. Boat Bar crew is the BEST ASSET - food and drink are delicious.

We are 68/71 yrs. of age, and husband has bad back. We arrived via taxi at approx. 8:00 p.m. and had to wrestle our luggage up the stairs ourselves. We were given a TINY, tiny room just steps from the bar, with the expected noise level that night and early the next a.m.. The following morning, we requested a room change, which was done. This was a larger room, but right on the street and again, extremely noisy. Our toilet kept stopping up, and the desk clerk advised us we shouldn't put t.p. in the toilet. I'm not about to sleep in a room with a waste basket full of used t.p.. The one bright spot was the Boat Bar and the crew that ran it. They were friendly, fun, informative, and presented bar food in such a way it seemed like gourmet fare. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay here, but we felt it left a lot to be desired. Fran & Ken Young
