Fodor's Review

Here you'll find the colorful fishing boats pictured on postcards. Named for rescue boats used when nearby Ramey Air Force Base was in operation, the beach has soft, sugary sand and water as smooth as glass. A food stand serves the catch of the day with cold beer. Right before you cross the bridge leading to the beach, a lookout point on your left makes a great photo-op. Amenities: food and drink; parking (free); showers; toilets. Best for: partiers; snorkeling; swimming.
