This truffle treasure camouflaged in a nondescript strip mall is acclaimed for having the "best coffee in Puerto Rico." The owner, Jose Rivera, refuses to disclose the secret source of his specialty beans or the technique that produces his mysterious blend. The aroma of chocolate entices passersby into the sweet shop with its candy-striped pink walls and chocolate-toned tables. Rotating glass towers display rich cakes and pastries, while endless rows of candy jars further tempt the palate. Chocolate-covered strawberries and gourmet truffles are all made in-house and are served by adorable grandmothers in their Little Miss Muffet-like uniforms topped with lace bonnets.
