Fodor's Review:

In Puerta de Tierra, this government-run beach is just off Avenida Muñoz Rivera. The patch of honey-color sand has shade provided by coconut palms and surf that's generally gentle. Favored by families, it has lifeguards, bathhouses, bathrooms, and restaurants.
