Hostería del Mar

Fodor's Review:

Before you even walk in the door, this hotel manages to charm you. Pause to admire a pond filled with iridescent goldfish before continuing into the wood-paneled lobby. The decor might be described as South Seas meets South Beach. The spacious guest rooms continue the tropical theme, aided by colorful fabrics and rattan furnishings. Many rooms have views of the beach, which is only a few feet away. Make sure to enjoy the kitchen's creative cuisine, either in the dining room or at a table on the sand. The staff is courteous and helpful. Pros: exotic decor; beautiful beach; tasty restaurant. Cons: neighborhood is too quiet for some.
