Some portions of the Iglésia de San Patricio (St. Patrick's Church) date from 1645, making it one of the island's oldest churches. It's home to a statue of the Virgin Mary that is worshiped during the Santiago Apóstol festivities. A side altar holds a statue of St. Patrick, the city's patron saint. If you'd like to see the interior without attending services, you can walk through the church just before or after Sunday mass.
