Fodor's Review:
Enjoy a bit of Germany at this out-of-the-way eatery outside the town of Orocovis, about 16 km (10 mi) northwest of Barranquitas. Casa Bavaria is a kitschy blend of biergarten and casual country restaurant. Choose bratwurst and sauerkraut or chicken with rice and beans. On weekends, patrons spend a good part of the day enjoying the view from the terrace, singing along with the jukebox, and joking with the waiters, some of whom speak German as well as English and Spanish.

NEVER EAT HERE!!!! AWFUL!!!!!

Dining at this self-called German “hick” restaurant was gross. Bugs crawling into the plates at the table, a loud bartender calling the attention of smokers in the open-air dining area, could not come when his attention was called to take care of the bugs. To my surprise, the manager Tom, could not care a simple bit when he was told about the problem. His line was that he spends $50 every week spraying for bugs… The food was more than average and plain: no salad, no bread, no repeat business!!! They say word of mouth is your best or worst advertisement. I guess this is it for the Bavarian… Definitively, not use to this kind of poor service!!!
