Despite its name, this family-run restaurant at Marina Puerto Real is also a good spot for beef and chicken. But if you want to see what people from all around the island are raving about, stick with the seafood. The specialty here is pieces of lobster, simmered with onions, tomatoes, and red peppers. The grilled and sautéed fresh fish, from tuna to red snapper, is also a winner. You can't miss the restaurant, as it's inside a two-story house painted a vivid shade of pink.

We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality seafood we had at this place. It is a little hard to find, at the end of a block in a nondescript, somewhat run down village where the ferries depart for Vieques, but it is worth the trip. I have 3 kids, and they had a kids menu that was adequate for my picky eater. I had a whole fried snapper, which was excellent, and the other two adults in our party had Mahi-Mahi with a tasty sauce. And compared to the very pricy resort restaurants nearby, the bill was very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and I was impressed with the quality of the food.
