Amid acres and acres of condo developments and golf courses, Wyndham Garden, the only hotel in Palmas del Mar, is surprisingly modest in scale, given its opulent surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and clean, though those fitted with plantation-style furnishings are more luxurious. None of the rooms have a view of the ocean, but some of them have balconies overlooking the infinity pool or the lush grounds. Because you have access to the facilities at Palmas del Mar, you can stroll around the marina, play a few games of tennis, or hit the links at the two championship golf courses.
