Antojitos Puertorriqueñes Review

"Buen provecho," says owner Jorge Martinez as you sit down to an authentic meal at this no-frills spot serving Puerto Rican favorites. Whether you're stopping for breakfast en route to the rainforest, catching the unbeatable $5.50 lunch special—which changes daily and offers choices like fried pork with plantains, grouper in creole sauce, and roasted chicken with beans and rice—or relaxing with a cocktail before dinner, the joint delivers. The premises are equally straightforward—a covered patio with plastic tables and chairs and overhead fans, as well as a soundtrack provided by indigenous coqui frogs.

    Great Red Snapper!!

Dinner here twice, and everyone loved it! They know how to mix a good drink, and we asked for red snapper the next night. Upon arrival, we had a table reserved, and the snapper was fabulous! Very good preparation, lots of local flavor in the other dishes, and excellent service. and they take credit cards! We will return on future visits.
