There's a string of seafood shacks in the village of Las Croabas, all serving delicious fried fish. This open-air eatery, with tables covered by straw-topped umbrellas and anchored by a bustling square bar, takes things up a notch or two. Look for dishes like seafood salad in a spicy vinaigrette, mahi mahi with scallops, a rich seafood paella, and chunks of lobster sautéed in cilantro butter. Wash it all down with a cold sangria. It's almost across from the Balneario Seven Seas, making it a great place to refuel after a day at the beach. The only drawback is that it's pricey.
