Balneario de Escambrón
- Address: Off Av. Munoz Riviera, west of the Normandie Hotel, Puerta de Tierra, San Juan
Fodor's Review:
In Puerta de Tierra, this government-run beach is just off Avenida Muñoz Rivera. This patch of honey-colored sand has shade provided by coconut palms and surf that's generally gentle. There are also lifeguards, bathhouses, bathrooms, and restaurants. The park is open daily from 7 to 7, and parking is $3.
