Her husband is on hand to chat with the customers, but Barbara Petersen does everything else: takes your order, cooks it up, and serves it with a flourish. You won't find better food anywhere on the island, and that includes the places that charge twice as much. Locals swear by her tender, flaky fish and chips. (The secret, Barbara's husband happily points out, is using red snapper.) Finish with key lime pie or peach and pineapple cobbler.
