La Piedra Escrita

  • Address: Rte. 144, Km 7.8, Jayuya

Fodor's Review:

La Piedra Escrita (Enscribed Rock) is a huge boulder with handful of highly visible Taíno petroglyphs, located in a stream among several other large rocks. The area has been completely renovated, so now there are several viewing areas and a shady spot for a picnic lunch. Don't worry, the boulder in the parking lot painted a lurid shade of blue is not La Piedra Escrita.
