Playa Crashboat

Beaches, Aguadilla

User Rating: ***** 4.8

Fodor's Review:

This is where you'll find the colorful fishing boats that are found on postcards all over the island. The sand here is soft and sugary, and the water is as smooth as glass. Named after rescue boats used when Ramey Air Force Base was in operation, this balneario has picnic huts, showers, parking, and restrooms. There's a modest food stand run by local fishermen where the catch of the day is served with cold beer.

A Family Beach for Water Sports and Relaxing

Posted by PRTek from South Carolina on 11/20/07

Crashboat is a premier shore diving spot for all levels of divers from beginner to technical--also snorkelers. Marine life is abundant around piers. Your whole family can enjoy the sand while you play in the water. Local dive operators like Puerto Rico Technical Diving just 2 km. from beach rent all the gear you need. Also a great place to enjoy a caribbean sunset. AWESOME.
