Those who think coffee can never be too strong should make a beeline to Kasalta, which has an amazing inky black brew that will knock your socks off. Make your selection from the display cases full of luscious pastries and other tempting treats. Walk up to the counter and order a sandwich, such as the savory Cubano, or such items as the meltingly tender octopus salad.

Great food and staff

I was very pleased with the staff at the bakery. People seem to forget that this is their home and they try to accomodate people of different cultures. It is not that they choose not to speak english as the person from Seattle stated. They have great food and they employ people from outside of the U.S.(Dominican Republic) and from the Island. I've been there with my son-in-law who is Italian and my daughter's fiance, they both loved everything about it, from people to atmosphere.RATING: 5.0
